Native Instruments Vokator Manual Pdf
I am not a professional musician, just use Cubase system 2 for personal joy. I wanted to experience the potentials of Vokator and purchased it recently including it as a VST plug-in effect into Cubase SE. I wanted to start trying a very simple performance. I recorded an audio track (vocals) and wanted to listen the result applying the Vokator preset effects.Unfortunately when the effect is switched on, no sound is heared. As soon as I deactivate the effect, I can hear the recorded sound but, of course, with no Vokator effect.Could you please let me know where is the secret since I could not find any help from the manual.Thank you in advance and best regards.Astor. VOKATOR - Vokator -Dear Mr. Sippel,I thank you very much for your immediate answer.I followed your instructions and set the A and B inputs to 'live' and thereactually occurred some vocoded sound but there was no sensible differencebetween one preset and the other. Then I understood that probably preset sounds are to be obtained setting theB input as Osc Synth and I switched it on.
On the virtual keyboard I couldplay the 'mix' between A input set to' live' and B set to Osc Synthesizerhaving the possibility to tune the singed file using the virtual keyboard.I am very happy that I discovered some of the Vokator performances duringthis afternoon but there is another question I must ask to you. How can Iset up the MIDI data exchange in order to play the Osc Synthesizer from myexternal MIDI keyboard instead of pushing the keys on the virtual keyboardon the Vokator using the mouse.I read the instructions but anything I do, Vokator does not accept the MIDIsignals from my external keyboard. (Cubase SE shows that the MIDI signal isactive IN and OUT).Do not be angry on me if I will have to annoy you in future with furtherquestions.Thank you in advance and best regardsDamir Kolakovic- Original Message -From: 'Native Instruments forum'Sent: Friday, August 20, 2004 12:13 PMSubject: NI VOKATOR - Vokator.

If notability cannot be established, the article is likely to be, or.Find sources: – ( January 2014) Kompakt is a discontinued cut-down version of ' software sampler. It features a large sample library containing samples of a range of acoustic and electronic instruments, and a number of performance controls. It also allows the user's own patches to be created and samples mapped across the keyboard using a basic drag-and-drop technique, however there is no capability for editing patches - as such Kompakt is best-suited as a performance instrument for playing predefined sample libraries. Kompakt is not compatible with Intel Macs.Kompakt Program Kompakt is a sampler-based synthesis application developed by company. Like Kontakt, it allows a user to load software instruments (or patches) into memory to be played back through a controller. Each instance of Kompakt can load up to eight instruments at a time.
Instrument patches can be modified and saved for use later. Kompakt similarly allows the user to work with multis, which are files defining a group of instrument patches.Kompakt allows the user control over the sound of the instrument by means of a set of controls. Some of these include envelopes, LFOs, filters and effects, and other such controls.3rd Party Libraries Many third-party manufacturers program software sample libraries. Through Native Instruments, one can buy sample libraries that include a special version of Kompakt, called the 'Kompakt Player,' to work with the sample libraries.
An obvious advantage of this is that one need not buy a full sampler in order to play the samples, but instead has the full capabilities of playing the sample library through the Kompakt player once the library is installed. Third-party sample manufacturers normally bundle their libraries with a customized version of a sample player optimized for that library. For example, the EastWest company develops libraries in which it wants users to have Kompakt-like control over the samples, so it will ship its sample library with a version of the Kompakt player which contains a special and is optimized for use of that library.Notes.
